Kilauea Church: This charming little church in the town of Kilauea on the north shore of Kauai is made of lava rocks and was built in 1935. The Kilauea Sugar Company deeded the land and provided the stone; the beautiful stained-glass windows were made in England and restored in 1968 to ensure longevity. The cemetery beside the church has graves dated more than 100 years ago; however several sites have no headstones making it difficult to determine the number of people buried here.
