This was a perfect view. Breathtaking views of Hanalei and the surrounding mountains. I've been to a lot of places and I can think of very few balconies with a more stunning setting. I think they under-sell it. Unit was very clean. We really appreciated the access to the pool and tennis courts, along with the cool walk down to the near private beach. The owner is very responsive and easy to work with. Can't wait to go again.

Hi Janice
We arrived home in Sydney last night after a wonderful Hawaiian holiday with my family to celebrate my husband's 60th birthday. I just wanted to take the time to thank you for everything in regards to our booking, and let you know how wonderful your property at the Hanalei Bay resort was. It was our first port of call, and we just thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It certainly set a high standard for the rest of our adventure.
I am so glad we made Kauai part of our trip, and in fact, will make a point of returning some time in the future. Even though the weather whilst we were there was rainy, it did not dampen our experience.

Unforgettably amazing!
Left on Apr 14, 2019 for a stay in Jun 2018
Aloha - It's been almost a year since our visit and I have not reviewed this property and experience until now...I think, because I never wanted it to end! 11 family members visited for my daughter's wedding, and Janice's condo could not have been more perfect! There was nothing we needed that was not provided. It was beautifully decorated and had plenty of space for all. While the pictures online of the property are truly gorgeous, it does not even come close to the beauty you see and feel in person. I vividly remember each morning on the balcony with my morning coffee. While writing this, I have the same overwhelming sense of awe that you can feel in your gut. Rainbows everyday with stunning views of the mountain backdrop for Hanalei Bay. Each was unique but somehow familiarly comforting. The resort had great tennis, fantastic pool, and a beautiful trail to the beach that helped keep you fit. They also had golf carts to take you up & down if you needed. The resort also had a nice little outdoor restaurant that had live entertainment which was fun a couple evenings...the food and service were both good too. Janice was kind and helpful from our very first email exchange. I feel she went above and beyond to ensure our trip was perfect. The Island of Kauai is so incredibly special, there are not any words I know that are able to precisely depict the feeling you get when there. There's so much more that could be shared, but the bottom line is that if you are ever blessed with the opportunity to visit, Janice and Hanalei Bay Resort would receive my highest recommendation.

"My family of 6 adults and 3 children thoroughly enjoyed the accommodations and our stay at Hanalei Bay Resort , #4301, #4302 and #4303 in February 2019. The living space was large with high ceilings and beautiful decor. The condo was very clean. Kitchen supplies were well stocked for all cooking needs. There was ample storage space in closets and dresser drawers for personal belongings. The beds were comfortable with clean bedding. All three bedrooms suites had beautiful views of the ocean with chairs and table on the lanai. There is a new washer and dryer for personal use. Beach chairs, boogie boards and coolers are available for use. Janice, owner, was quick in replying to questions and very accommodating.
We enjoyed our stay and would definitely book this same accommodations again. Janice, please accept our gratitude for sharing your home with my family. Everything was wonderful."

Our group of 12 including 6 teenagers and 6 adults had an amazing stay at this lovely condo resort. The ocean views were breathtaking and we loved sitting on the lovely patio drinking our coffee and watching the birds. Considering how large the property is, it was very quiet and peaceful, but the bar was always hopping if you wanted a little music and food. I loved the proximity to the beach and the Princeville hotel. The condo is very well equipped with everything you need to enjoy the beach, guide books, games and cooking essentials. Janice is super helpful and responsive. I would love to stay here again.
My only suggestions would be to get rid of the louvered door to the master in 4302. Privacy was an issue and you could hear everything going on in the kitchen and living room which made it difficult to sleep with night-owls and early risers.
The pool is very nice to hang out by but it was very cold which was a bummer. But all minor issues considering what an amazing property this is.

Beautiful space and location!
Nice resort property with view, pool and tennis courts. We rented three spacious adjoining condo "rooms" - perfect for our group of six. Each one had needed independence with wonderful shared space. The owner clearly thought about what would be needed for all guests. Check in was easy and resort support spot on. Thank-you Janice for making our stay so perfect and comfortable. Princeville with nearby grocery stores, restaurants, beaches and activities provided the variety needed by our group - I highly recommend this area, resort and condo.

Beautiful Condo and can't beat the view
This was our second time staying in the unit. The condo is just perfect for a family and a visit to the north side of Kauai. Janice is very easy to book with. Answers any questions promptly and provides plenty to information about the resort and area. So any questions that you don't know to ask get answered !! The condo is very comfortable and stocked with anything needed for our stay. The resort has added a swim up bar!! Loved it.

The Perfect Stay!
Like the other reviewers have mentioned, Janice's property is simply breathtaking and the pictures do not do it justice. We had 6 adults and a toddler in the 3 BD + Loft Condo and we had plenty of space. Everything was very clean and the property itself is lush with beautiful flowers. The kitchen was fully stocked with spices and appliances. More than you would ever need. The beautiful welcome basket was greatly appreciated! We will undoubtedly be back. Thanks for the amazing stay!

Great unit with amazing view!
We rented 4302 & 4303 & couldn't have been happier. The unit was well equipped with an updated kitchen & spacious couch to accommodate our whole family. The best part of the unit had to be the amazing view of Hanalei Bay off the lanai. Was the perfect spot for morning coffee or an evening cocktail. We would definitely recommend this unit & this resort. Great little beach just a 5 minute walk down the beach path too!

Amazing
This was the perfect place for our family of 10. The condo was amazing, really clean and very comfortable. The views were out of this world, we woke up to rainbows every morning on the lanai. Janice had an amazing welcome basket with fruit, coffee and chocolate, it was super sweet! The resort was great, with an amazing pool and sand bottom hot tub with water falls! There are places to sit and relax throughout the resort. The staff was amazing, I really couldn't ask for more! The resort has everything you can ask for, I really didn't want to leave the resort at all. I would definitely come back and stay in this condo!

Our family of 12, children and grandchildren, stayed in this three bedroom suite in July, 2017. It is exactly as the pictures and descriptions show. The furnishings, kitchen appliances, bedding, and towels are luxurious. We were so comfortable. There were even boogie boards and beach toys provided. As nice as the living space was, the view was amazing. We spent so much time on the decks watching the changing views of the bay and mountains, from sun to clouds to rainbows to sunsets. Every time we looked it seemed to be different and more beautiful. This suite must have the best views in the resort. And the resort itself is beautiful, from the pool-hot tub area, to the registration desk, to the tennis courts, to the Happy Talk restaurant, and to the sitting fire pit areas for viewing the sunsets. Our family loved the swim up bar and the extremely friendly bartender. Hanalei Bay beach is also beautiful and the short walk to the beach is equally beautiful. My husband and I, being the Grandparents of our family, especially appreciated the golf cart rides from place to place. Just call and they were right there. Everyone was so friendly. And I can't say BEAUTIFUL enough.

We want to thank you for the wonderful opportunity to gather together our family in one of the most beautiful places on earth! Although we live on the south shore of Kauai, we still felt the magic of "The Land Called Hanalei". Our grandkids learned the Peter Paul and Mary song during our stay:) The 3 units together offered the perfect amount of privacy, but also the perfect gathering place for meals, games, and fun. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare big family meals. The property had so many options for fun activities: 2 pools, hot tub, beach, hiking, tennis, lawn games, barbecue! Everyone in our group (age 6-60) had a GREAT TIME! Waking up each morning to that stunning view was like the cherry on top of a delicious ice cream sundae.
