Lockout
Please could someone explain the use of the term "Lockout" when applied to the hanalei bay resort units.

|
The term "lock-out" refers to an attached bedroom/bathroom with its own outside entrance. These lockouts can be locked off from the main unit with double locking doors and then rented independently of the main unit.
